VPI Transformers manufactured by Mehir Transformer undergo a specialized vacuum pressure impregnation process. The core-coil assembly is placed in a pressure vessel, subjected to deep vacuum to remove all air and moisture, and then impregnated under pressure with high-grade electrical resin varnish.

This eliminates air voids, prevents partial discharge, and renders the active parts impervious to dust, chemical fumes, and high humidity.
